Hi all,

 

Yesterday Microsoft has released Network Monitor version 3.3 the tool for capture and anlyze network traffic.

 

Below a brief description about the new features that version 3.3 introduces and the web link for download it.

 

There was correct any bugs with regard the precedent release and some new features:

 

ü  Now there is the capability to capture traffic from WAN interface and trough Windows 7’s tunnels

 

ü  Hyper-V support

 

ü  Now is possible to add an alias simply with a right click on IP protocol or MAC address

 

ü  Capability to hop as the definition of the data field with right click in the frame field

 

ü  Auto-scroll: during a capture session it is possible tio enable auto-scroll function to view the most recent traffic to analyze

 

ü  Capability to add a comment to a frame

 

 

 

ü  Capability to open file ETL and correlate informationwith event trace in the network

 

ü  A group of parser to increase performances

 

ü  New API extension

 

ü  Experts, on line application that can analyze network traffic (you can find them at link  http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=133950

Finally the news that we are waiting is arrived. Windows 7 was issued in release candidate1. The product will be available in a few days, there is talk of maximum 2 days, for the members to TechNet and MSDN, while probably will be released to the other users until the 5 may, I suppose. Will finally be possible try all the news, issued after a public beta….

After a long period of tests, to a very limited rank of users, Exchange Server 2010, this will be its official name; will be made available in beta. Exchange 2010 will be an evolution in the version 2007 and will close up the part of cooperation and of working online, with a new version of OWA that will be more complete. About OWA, one of the new case of the full support to all types of browser and not as was the case until now, that the most complete were available at this LINK…

I'm very excited for a new version of Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP), available for purchase to Software Assurance customers. 

MDOP 2009 includes the first release of Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (MED-V 1.0), a Cumulative Update to Microsoft Application Virtualization  (App-V 4.5 CU1) and an update to the Asset Inventory Service (AIS). plus includes the other standard MDOP tools: Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset, Microsoft Advanced Group Policy Management and Microsoft System Center Desktop Error Monitoring.
