Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Protocol Documentation
The Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Protocol technical documentation set provides detailed technical specifications for Microsoft protocols and extensions to industry-standard or other published protocols that are implemented and used in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 to interoperate or communicate natively with Microsoft Office client and other server products.
The documentation set includes a set of companion overview and reference documents that supplement the technical specifications with conceptual background, overviews of inter-protocol relationships and interactions, and technical reference information.
The protocol specifications are available in the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) which you can open using Adobe Reader, available at http://www.adobe.com
The self-extracting Zip file (Exchange_Protocols.zip) contains all of the client protocol documents. The readme file contains late-breaking information about the protocol specifications and the technical documentation set.
Download all .zip Document here from source by select “Exchange_Protocols.zip” the document are approx 43 Mb.

SoftGrid OSD Editor 2.1
This tool permit to works with osd file simply without opening and editind manually with text pad or similar tool with the risk to create erroneous tag or use wrong code in XML style in OSD file.
There are however some fields you cannot edit with the OSD Editor. This is by design: these are fields that should never be edited like for example the GUID of the sequence. Additionally, the SoftGrid OSD Editor also educates you on the meaning of some of the XML tags that can be used in SoftGrid OSD files.
Now there is new version 2.1, what’s a new?
They have added Microsoft Application Virtualization (SoftGrid) 4.5 support. One of the major new features in Microsoft Application Virtualization 4.5 is Dynamic Suiting Composition. Dynamic Suiting makes it possible for virtual applications to interact with each other.
So the main new feature of the SoftGrid OSD Editor is Dynamic Suiting Composition Support which allows you to easily Add the Dynamic Suiting tags into the SoftGrid OSD file. Just Search for SoftGrid OSD files on the Content Share and add them!
For Download this tool, and more detail about it, registration is required please go to source here (there are other great SoftGrid tools here)
Thank you guy!
Below some pic about this tool, for example the general TAB (fig. 1) where you can insert or modify version, HREF, SFT file and other parameters but not GUID

Otherwise the Dependecies tab (fig. 2) where you can add or customize Dynamic Suiting detailed in my precedent post with links to Blog of Rodney Medina that explain it (the new future in SoftGrid platform 4.5) with a search of OSD file for in the content share for example.

Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP)
The Microsoft planning and evaluation solution accelerator (MAP) makes it easy for you to evaluate your current infrastructure and to determine which Microsoft technologies your IT needs. MAP is a powerful inventory, the evaluation, and reporting that can perform firmly in small medium or large environments without requiring the installation of software agent on any computer or devices.
The data and analysis provided by this solution accelerator can significantly simplify the planning process for migration to Windows Vista, Microsoft Office 2007, Windows Server 2008, Microsoft application virtualization (formerly Softgrid), and Windows Server virtualization technologies including Virtual Server 2005 r2 and Windows Server 2008 hyper-V.
The Microsoft Assessment and Planning Solution Accelerator is an agentless tool that will find computers on a network and perform a detailed inventory of the computers using Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), the Remote Registry Service, or the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
This includes also assessment of device driver availability and recommendations for hardware upgrades that may be required.

Promote as Domain Controller a Windows 2008 CORE
Windows Server Core is a non graphical interface server that permit to have a great vantage with its implementation in the domain but in the same time require to know how manage this non GUI interface server; about this I would remind to my precedent post “Getting Started with Server 2008 Core” as an introduction of it.
To promote a Windows Server Core to a Domain Controller is necessary to run a DCPROMO.EXE command but remember to specify the unattend file that permit to set all parameters that we’ll need to do a Domain Controller.
Obviously we need to create an unattended file, to do this there are some methods that we can use, following some short examples:
1. We can create it manually :
To do this please following this procedure; First, we need to create the unattend file. The unattend file is an ASCII text file that provides automated user input for each page of the Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard.
One method of creating the unattend file is by editing a sample text file you've created before or obtained from other sources or site. This is an example of such an Unattend file. In this example you will create an additional DC for a domain called Caloni.local:
2. To following the Microsoft KB Article:
We can refer to Microsoft help and support article at page “How to use unattended mode to install and remove Active Directory Domain Services on Windows Server 2008-based domain controllers” KB 947034
3. Ran DCPROMO on different Server:
Another method is by creating it through the DCPROMO wizard that you've ran on a different server; for example if I’ve made a DCPROMO of another Windows Server 2008 (but not Core version), there is a specific step that permit to save an unattended file, about this you can refer to my precedent post “We try to promote a Windows Server 2008 to a Domain Controller together”
q Run the DCPROMO process
Now we need to run manually DCPROMO. To run the Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard in unattended mode, use the following command at a command prompt:
After that we need to reboot the machine
To do this type the following text in the command prompt and press Enter.
After the server comes back online you'll have yourself a new and shining DC running on a server core machine.
Some SoftGrid Office Applications may not run if McAfee VirusScan 8.5i is installed
After installing VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i some SoftGrid client actions seems to be blocked. For example, if you try to start Microsoft Word 2003 /2007 or another Office Application via SoftGrid you may get the following error:
"The operation system is not presently configured to run this application."
The best practices and the troubleshooting information for the MSI Utility for Microsoft Application Virtualization
Microsoft has published this article (last review at March 25, 2008) that describes the best practices and the troubleshooting information for the MSI Utility for Microsoft Application Virtualization (MSI Utility).
This article also describes the error messages that you may receive when you run the MSI Utility in an interactive session and in a non interactive session. It should be better to read this article to better know MSI utility because it so great tool for deploy and distribute applications.
