Believe me!
It’s true, with Softgrid is possible…
because Softgrid works with virtual environment that is perfectly isolated from the system, and this permit to execute differente version of applications, like different version of Microsoft Office for example, in the same time. But thare are more cases that concern this, like differente version of Java Virtual machine for example and so on. With this method is possible to run old application version of software on the same machine without use differene OS and different Hardware.
